I am learning to write a google doc about Sir Edmund Hillary. I found this work interesting because I don't know who is Sir Edmund Hillary the I found out that he was the first man to climb Mount Everest. One thing I did well is finding facts about Sir Edmund Hillary's Trust.

My Reflection:
I am learning to write a Demon Dentist Reader's Response. I found this work interesting and tricky because I had to write my favorite character  which is hard to choose. One thing I did well is that i wrote lots of acts about the character´s. One thing I could do better is that ad more scary pictures. Overall I thought that I did well in this slideshow.

I am learning to learn to write the original story of Little Red Riding Hood. I found this work easy and interesting because I know the whole story. One thing I could better is that I need to add more detail in the story about what I'm writing.

One thing I did well is that I know what I'm writing and double check it. One thing I could do better is that I could put more detail in the story. I am learning to write a slideshow about Main Ideas of Maniac Magee. I found this work interesting, challenging and hard because I have to remember the whole main idea in the story. One thing I did well is that i finally knew what was happening then I stared to know that it wasn't so hard at all. one thing I could do better is that add more picture and more detail. Overall I thought that I did well in this slideshow.

My Reflection:
I am learning to make a slideshow about Chinese New Year. I found this work interesting and hard because we had to find lot's of facts and find the perfect pictures. One thing I did well is that I put the pictures well. One thing I need to work on is that write more detail about what we are talking about.

My Reflection:
I was learning to write a interesting fact with a comma. I found this work challenging because you have to find a with a comma in the sentence. One thing I did well in this interesting fact is that I found interesting fact with a comma in the fact that I'm writing. One thing I could do better in this interesting fact is that maybe I could add  more detail in my writing.

What I do In My Free Time

My Reflection:
I was learning to write a time capsule about what I do in my free time. I found this work easy and interesting because I just have to wrote what I do in free time and it was amazing writing about it. One thing I did well in this time capsule is that I wrote a interesting about what is my favourite book that I like to read about and what author that I like. One thing I could do better is that I could wrote what is my favourite song when I am reading my book because I did not wrote in my time capsule and if I don't wrote it then people won't know what song I'm talking about. Overall I thought I did well on my time capsule because I wrote down some things that are interesting about what I do in my free time.

Facts About Me

My Reflection:
I am learning to write a slide show about myself and a little of my family. I found this work interesting and easy because you just have to write about myself. One thing I did well is that I gave some interesting things what  I do at my holidays. One thing I did not did well is that I do not did really well on the Quiz slide show because I don't really know what  to write. Overall I thought I did pretty well on this slide show and next time I will be successful at writing facts about myself.

My Reflection:
I am learning to write a book review about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I found this work easy and hard at the start because at the start I don't know what to do and I just write and write and then when I showed the teacher I was right. One thing I did well is that I wrote description about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

My Reflection:
I am learning to do dots pattern in a slide show. I found this work trick and challenging because I have to think about what patterns I am going to do.One thing I did well is that my patterns are pretty good. One thing I could do better is that I can make the pattern interesting enough.

I am learning to find out whats the main character and miner character. I found this work easy and interesting because I know about the animals I'm gonna write and put some cute picture to make my Antarctic Animals. One thing I thought I did well is that I wrote some main characters that I know about in the book.

I am learning to take the David William book and write which story we liked about The World Worst Children. I found this work interesting because I have never heard of this author and the book. One thing I could do better is to describe a little bit more about the book.

My Reflection:

I am learning to write Bias and Prejudice and figure it out what the meaning is for Bias and Prejudice. I found this work hard and co because I don't know what the meaning is for bias and prejudice. One thing I could do better is to get some amazing meaning from the dictionary.

My Reflection: I am learning to use paired double sentence in our writing. I found this work easy and interesting because I use this often in my work. One thing I did well is that I joined the two sentences together and write the conjunction to join the sentence.

My Reflection: I am learning to write a value about responsibility.I found this work interesting because it is my first time doing it. One thing I could get better at it is to get a better idea next time.

My Reflection:
I was learning to write a Impromptu speech about No More School Uniform. I found this work interesting and confuse because thinking about why we don´t wear school uniform is one thing I could work on. One thing I could do better is to write more about No More School Uniform and more interesting facts about it.

If I won Lotto

My Reflection:
I was learning to write a Impromptu Speech about If I won a Lotto. I found this work interesting because you can think of what if you won a Lotto it was fun but is not real. One thing I did well is to think of some wonderful ideas what if I won a lotto because what a wonderful thing if I got so much money.

Guy Fawkes

I was learning to find and summaries information in a nonfiction text by skimming and scanning. I was successful because I am skimming and scanning the story to get some important information. My next steps are practising more at finding information by skimming and scanning.

My Persuasive Speech

My Reflection: I was learning to write, plan and present a persuasive speech.
I think I achieved my success criteria because I kept on practicing my speech and I think I have some good facts.Next time I write a speech I will need to work on speaking a bit more louder and I kneed to use some good expression to make it more interesting . I think I did well at my speech because I had some good persuasive language.

Welcome to my learning blog for year 5 in 2017. This year I am in Room 24. My teacher is Miss Hughes.I enjoy doing art, writing , reading and maths. My most favorite subject is maths because I get to learn different strategist and how to solve a maths quiz.   

Forgetful Friday

Reflection
I am learning to read clearly to an audience.I kneed to work on speaking louder and clear.
I also have to work on being more confident and using more expression with our voices.

The Story About All Cats

 My Reflection: I am learning to write story about all cats. I found this tricky and hard because I have to find enough information to write the story of all cats. One thing I did well is that I use some of my own information about cats and some facts that I got so I put both information together to make the story.

Comparisons

I am learning to compare fictional character and non-fictional character from Roald Dahl 'witches'. I found it hard to compare the two character at the same time because you have to find the same facts or similar things and brain storm the two characters and information.

FAME

My Reflection:

I was learning to write a Impromptu speech about Fame. I found this work interesting and kind of hard. One thing that I did well in this was getting facts about being famous and not  being famous because I know what it feels like to be famous and not famous.

I am learning to describe David Walliam's 'The World Worst Children'.I think it is hard because it is defecal and I have to write if like or don't like the story. But I enjoy writing I think it is so much fun.
